Speed up site clearance for Nha Trang City Mixed-use Urban Area Project

Comrade Tran Hoa Nam delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

According to the report, in phase 1, Nam Nha Trang ward has organized an inventory and verified the origin of 81 hectares of land, with 121 plots of land of 105 cases affected by the project; organized the listing of 101 cases, approved the compensation plan for 38 cases. It is expected that the remaining area of phase 1 is 50.6 hectares and will complete site clearance before September 15. Phase 2 of the project has about 142 hectares (the Department of Agriculture and Environment has not yet appraised the cadastral map) with about 1,400 plots of land. It is expected that the site clearance work of phase 2 of the project will be completed before December 31.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam requested the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward and relevant agencies to continue to focus on accelerating the progress of compensation, clearance, and handover of land to the project investor to organize construction. Mr. Tran Hoa Nam agreed with the proposal of the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward on the support level of 3 times the price of agricultural land of the same type in the current Land Price List of the province for cases where families and individuals have used land after July 1, 2014 for agricultural production purposes but the land origin was previously rivers and streams, not registered, and the land plot has not been shaped (from July 1, 2014 to the time of land reclamation announcement). Regarding the compensation for the cost of moving assets of households, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam requested the investor to support these cases in accordance with the provisions of law.

In addition, for cases affected by the Tac River - Quan Truong River Downstream Policing Project and the Nha Trang City Mixed-use Urban Area Project, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam requested the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward to review legal regulations, abolish decisions approving compensation, support, resettlement plans, and land recovery decisions previously issued by the Nha Trang City People's Committee for cases where compensation and support payments were stopped; and implement compensation and site clearance work for the part within the land recovery boundary of the Nha Trang City Mixed-use Urban Area Project.
