Speed up the construction progress of Lao Cai Specialized High School project

Immediately after the project started, the investor and contractor always followed the progress closely, urgently implementing the construction items. After only 9 months of construction, the project has completed 70% of the volume. The 2 5-storey blocks with classrooms, department rooms, administration building, examination building, and library have completed the rough construction and are in the process of finishing. Other items such as: service canteen building, dormitory block, multi-purpose sports hall, technical building, fire prevention and fighting building, connecting bridge, outdoor stadium are also being constructed synchronously.

Mr. Tran Van Vu, technical officer, Duc Tuan Construction Investment Company Limited said: "The construction company does not have days off, and works overtime on holidays. The company supports workers with standard policies to ensure health as well as safety and hygiene in the working environment, to ensure project progress."

Lao Cai High School for the Gifted project has completed 70% of the workload.

Identifying this as a key project with high technical and aesthetic requirements, the contractor has mobilized maximum human and material resources. Currently, every day, hundreds of engineers, workers, and dozens of machines and vehicles are deployed in many construction teams in 3 continuous shifts, from early morning to night, including holidays and days off.

"The company also encourages staff and workers to focus on construction even during holidays; trying to complete the project on schedule assigned by the province to start the new school year in 2025," added Mr. Nguyen Khac Chanh, Director of Duc Tuan Construction Investment Company Limited.

The contractor mobilized human resources and machinery to focus on construction to ensure the set progress.

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board also directed contractors to gather sufficient materials; assigned project managers to regularly monitor the construction site, coordinate with contractors to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles so that the Lao Cai Specialized High School project can ensure quality, technique, aesthetics as well as complete on schedule.
