On the afternoon of July 4, Comrade Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the Law Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province, had meetings with voters of Quang Yen town and Uong Bi city after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. In particular, the meeting with voters of Quang Yen town was organized in the form of direct and online meetings to 19 communes and wards in the whole town.
At the meetings with voters, Comrade Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province, briefly reported on the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the implementation of the socio -economic development plan and the state budget. She said that this is the Session with the largest volume of legislative content since the beginning of the term. Accordingly, with a high approval rate, the National Assembly voted to pass 11 laws; considered and passed 21 resolutions, including 3 legal resolutions and gave initial opinions on 11 draft laws; considered and gave opinions on a number of other important contents. The National Assembly highly agreed on the approval and giving opinions on draft laws and resolutions, ensuring quality from preparation, reception, explanation, completion and approval.
Voters of the two localities also heard reports on the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the 7th Session; reports on the results of the implementation of the tasks of National Assembly Deputies according to regulations and dissemination of Laws, Resolutions and other decisions passed by the National Assembly.
Meeting with the National Assembly Deputies, voters of Quang Yen Town expressed their high consensus and agreement with the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly and highly appreciated the contributions and active activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation in the past time. Voters of Quang Yen Town were very excited when many contents reflected in the voter meetings before the Session were resolutely handled by the authorities, many issues were clearly answered for voters to know. At the same time, they sent to the National Assembly Deputies some opinions related to the guidance on meeting with voters at the commune level, because the commune level does not have a People's Council delegation, so the organization of voter meetings still has many shortcomings; expressed the desire to expand the compulsory insurance coverage to those working in villages and areas.
At the meeting with voters of Uong Bi City, voters expressed their high consensus on the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly as well as the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; at the same time, they made recommendations on a number of issues related to upgrading the drainage system to avoid local flooding; on supporting farmers in production development; on a number of policies and lists of health insurance to support people when examining and treating diseases...
On behalf of the provincial National Assembly Delegation, Comrade Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, explained and clarified a number of opinions and recommendations that voters were interested in; at the same time, received voters' opinions to synthesize and report to the National Assembly and relevant agencies for consideration, supervision and resolution in the coming time.
