The Grade 10 Physics exam contains errors.

On the afternoon of June 2nd, at the Trung Vuong High School examination center (Saigon Ward), candidates who had completed the specialized subject exam for the public high school entrance exam left in a torrential rain. However, candidates taking the specialized Physics exam left later than those taking other subjects due to an error in the exam paper.

Specifically, the specialized Physics exam had 5 questions, each worth 2 points. In question 1, the formula was given: BC² = AB² + AC² - 2AB × AB × cosA. Upon receiving the exam paper, many candidates complained to the invigilators that the formula was incorrect.

However, according to the examination regulations, invigilators are only responsible for recording and reporting to the examination center's leadership; they cannot independently adjust the professional content. Immediately afterward, this error was reported to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has instructed that an additional 15 minutes be allocated for the Physics exam in specialized subjects.

Aside from the data error in the exam questions, most candidates assessed this subject's exam as long and highly challenging. Specifically, question 2 contained new knowledge, while the rest were familiar question types but required a high level of application.

Upon review, an official from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training confirmed an error in the data for the specialized Physics exam. All candidates were given an additional 15 minutes to complete the exam. After the specialized exam ended, the department's professional team is reviewing the data and may consider canceling this question and awarding all candidates 2 points if the error in the exam directly affected their results.

In this year's 10th grade entrance exam, the admission score for specialized 10th grade classes includes the total score of three subjects: Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Language (weighted 1), plus the score of the specialized subject (weighted 2).

The results of the 10th grade entrance exam are expected to be announced after June 12th.
