Previously, on the afternoon of June 2, the entire Thanh Hoa province had 42,815 candidates participating in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year present at the exam site to complete exam procedures and listen to the exam regulations.
This year, the whole province has 43,578 candidates registered to take the exam at 91 exam locations with a total of 1,817 exam rooms.
Of which, Lam Son High School for the Gifted (Thanh Hoa City) and Nguyen Thi Loi High School (Sam Son City) each have 2 examination councils.
According to the Department of Education and Training, the number of candidates coming to complete exam procedures on the afternoon of June 2 was 42,815, reaching a rate of 98.25%.
The time for considering and announcing the admission results is before July 31. For admission to Lam Son High School for the Gifted, each candidate must take 4 exams (3 common exams of the public high school exam for the 10th grade are literature, math, English and one exam of the specialized subject according to the wishes).
The time for the specialized subject exam is 150 minutes; the exam score is calculated by a coefficient of 3; each specialized subject has a separate exam according to the secondary school program.
