Spreading the responsibility of caring for future generations.
Children are the happiness of every family and the future owners of the country. Therefore, the protection, care, and education of children are always a priority for Party committees, government agencies, and mass organizations in the province, implemented through many specific and practical programs and activities.
According to statistics, the province currently has 5,354 children in difficult circumstances and 13,906 children at risk of falling into difficult circumstances. These figures show that the need for care and support for children remains very great, requiring the joint efforts of the entire political system and society.
Over the years, the province has implemented a comprehensive range of policies to support children in healthcare, education, nutrition, recreation, and entertainment, while also strengthening measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and drowning, as well as providing mental health care and protecting children from the dangers of modern life.

In response to the 2026 Action Month for Children, many meaningful programs were organized throughout the province. At the provincial-level launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 40 scholarships worth 1.7 million VND each (including cash and school supplies), 60 gifts worth 500,000 VND each, 75 sets of school supplies worth 500,000 VND each, and 25 bicycles worth 2.5 million VND each to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies. The total cost of implementation was nearly 200 million VND. Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they carry profound meaning in encouraging and motivating the children to continue their studies.
Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa stated: protecting, caring for, and educating children is not only the responsibility of functional agencies but also the responsibility of the entire society. Every child has the right to live in a safe environment, to be loved, cared for, and given the opportunity for comprehensive development. Investing in children is investing in the future, in high-quality human resources, and in the sustainable development of our homeland and country.
In the context of a rapidly developing society, alongside new opportunities, many risks affecting children also emerge, such as violence, abuse, injuries, and negative influences from the online environment. Therefore, all levels and sectors need to continue to enhance their responsibility and strengthen solutions to protect children, especially by equipping them with life skills, digital skills, and safe internet usage skills so that they can protect themselves from risks in life.
According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa, in the coming time, it is necessary to continue to promote communication work to raise awareness among families, schools and the community about children's rights; at the same time, effectively mobilize social resources to care for children in difficult circumstances, build a safe and friendly learning and playing environment, and help all children have equal opportunities for development.
Creating enriching activities and equipping children with valuable skills during the summer.
Along with provincial-level care programs, local youth have been playing a leading role in protecting, caring for, and educating children through many practical activities associated with the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
At the launching ceremony of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, held in conjunction with the Provincial Action Month for Children, the Provincial Youth Union awarded 455 "Lighting Up Dreams" scholarships, 100 school bags, and 5,000 notebooks to disadvantaged students in the province.
According to Tran Hai Phu, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, each scholarship, each notebook, or each school bag donated is not only material support but also represents the affection and sharing of the community for students in difficult circumstances. Through the activities of the Campaign, the youth of Tay Ninh hope to contribute to creating conditions for all children to study, play, and develop in a healthy environment.

Besides providing care, the Youth Union continues to implement many activities to educate children in life skills and digital skills, build safe summer playgrounds, and mobilize social resources to support children in difficult circumstances. This is also a way for young people to demonstrate their responsibility to the community and contribute to caring for the future generation of their homeland.
Receiving a gift of support at the program, Tran Nguyen Khanh An, a 5th grade student from An Ninh Dong Primary School in An Ninh commune, expressed: “I am very happy and grateful to receive the care and gifts from the kind people during the summer. This gift will help me prepare for the new school year. I will try my best to study well, be well-behaved, and obey my grandparents and parents so as not to disappoint everyone who has loved and helped me.”
In Tuyen Thanh commune, the launching ceremony of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and the response to the Month of Action for Children in 2026 was held with many activities focused on children. During the program, the Organizing Committee presented many gifts to disadvantaged children in the area. Each gift included cash and essential goods, helping to encourage the children to overcome difficulties and strive for success in their studies and lives.
According to Pham Thanh Sang, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Thanh commune, children are a group that needs special attention and care from families and society as a whole. Through activities in response to the Month of Action for Children and the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the locality hopes to bring children a joyful, safe, and enriching summer; and at the same time create conditions for disadvantaged children to receive attention, encouragement, and further motivation to strive in their studies and lives.
In the coming period, the locality will continue to coordinate with various sectors and organizations and mobilize social resources to better care for children, especially those in difficult circumstances, contributing to building a safe, friendly, and healthy living environment for their comprehensive development.

At Ton That Tung Primary School (Tan Ninh Ward), the program in response to the 2026 Action Month for Children attracted nearly 900 youth union members, young people, and students. The atmosphere of the early summer festival became vibrant with cultural performances by the children themselves. They also participated in English language exchange activities with many fun games, contributing to improving communication skills, self-confidence, and integration abilities.
In particular, the reading space with over 1,000 books covering various fields such as history, science, life skills, and children's stories became a highlight of the program. Interactive activities and learning from books helped children develop a love for reading and cultivate a lifelong learning habit. In addition, free food stalls, lucky draws, and various group games provided children with joyful and enriching moments during the early days of summer.

In reality, organizing healthy and diverse recreational activities during the summer not only helps children avoid dangers from the online environment, accidents, and social vices, but also contributes to the development of life skills, communication abilities, solidarity, and community awareness.
Through practical programs, scholarships, loving gifts, and enriching playgrounds being widely implemented, the message about the responsibility to care for and protect children continues to spread strongly. This is not only immediate support but also a long-term investment in the future generation, so that every child has the opportunity to continue writing their beautiful dreams on their journey to adulthood.
