An art night to share with victims of Agent Orange.

On the evening of May 22nd, the Faculty of Cultural and Arts Management, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, in collaboration with the People's Committee of An Bien commune, organized an art performance and fundraising program titled "A Flame from the Ashes," in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Day for Victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 2026).

A large number of people, union members, and young people attended the art performance and fundraising program "Light from the Ashes".

The program was produced under the professional guidance of Meritorious Artist, Doctor, Director, and Screenwriter Hoang Duan and Doctor Vu Thi Bich Duyen. The art program "Light from the Ashes" is structured into three chapters: Echoes from the Past, Echoes of Pain, and Song of Hope.

Each section has its own unique tone, but together they create a continuous emotional flow, recreating the losses left behind by war, while simultaneously spreading a spirit of sharing and compassion.

Through music , stage performances, and real-life stories, the program becomes an artistic journey that connects emotions, where compassion, faith, and hope are kindled in the lives of those facing many difficulties.

The organizers presented gifts to families affected by Agent Orange and underprivileged students in An Bien commune.

On this occasion, the organizing committee presented 20 gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to families in extremely difficult circumstances affected by Agent Orange; and 30 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to poor but studious students in An Bien commune.

These gifts not only provide material support to disadvantaged families and students but also inspire them to strive for a better life.

The program contributes to spreading awareness about the long-term consequences of Agent Orange, helping the community, especially the younger generation, to better understand the losses left by the war as well as the resilience of Agent Orange victims.
