Continuing the journey of “True Concert” through the themes “Water” (2019) and “Sounds of Nature” (2021), this year's program chooses “land” as its overarching inspiration. While in previous seasons nature was expressed through sound and space, “Love for the Land” this time delves deeper into human emotions, from memories and attachment to homeland to the sense of peace from simple things in everyday life.

Accordingly, "True Concert - Love for the Land" follows a direction that both showcases visually stunning stage effects and maintains a gentle, restrained emotional rhythm. The program is divided into five parts: "The Field," "Flowers and Fruits," "Water," "The Forest," and "Love for the Land," connected by music , light, images, and stage movement to create a continuous emotional flow.

Director Cao Trung Hieu shared that he feels fortunate to continue being a member of the "True Concert" creative team for many seasons. After the previous two concert seasons and a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this return holds even more special meaning as it reminds people to cherish where they stand, the place that serves as the foundation for life – the land. For him, the name "Love for the Land" also evokes a feeling of protection and tenderness, just as Mother Nature is always present to embrace humanity.

The program featured many beautiful images related to dewdrops, flowers, forests, and roots, conveying a message of gratitude and appreciation for nature. To convey this spirit, in addition to music and dance performances, the production team incorporated many modern technologies and effects into the Ho Guom Theater space, such as mapping projections and interactive LED screens, to enhance the audience's experience.

In particular, composer Tran Thanh Phuong brought a unique flavor to the program by blending folk music with modern songs, allowing familiar melodies to be given a fresh interpretation through the artists' performances. While the sound of the symphony orchestra evokes the vastness and grandeur of mountains, oceans, or the sky, jazz brings a sense of freedom and improvisation, like the wind or the natural movement of water. Meanwhile, rock expresses the power of nature, such as storms and large waves; while acoustic music is intimate and rustic, suggesting the warmth and peace of plants, fields, or windy afternoons. All these elements combine to create impressive artistic experiences.

One of the performances that audiences talked about most after the show was "Forever Relying on You" by author Thuong Tam Dieu Hue, performed by Pia Linh and Oplus. The performance was like a small moment of quiet reflection during the program, but it resonated with many as it evoked contemplation and reflection on faith and life.

Sharing his thoughts on including a relatively new song in the program, composer Thanh Phuong said the reason lay in the song's genuine emotion. The song has a meditative feel, creating a sense of purity and peace. When arranging the music, the team also incorporated natural sounds such as birdsong and wind to create an atmosphere that suited the overall spirit of the program.

Performing this song for the first time on stage with the group Oplus, Pia Linh was deeply moved. The singer commented that the lyrics are beautiful, speaking about how people cultivate inner peace. The song reminds people to slow down and spend more time caring for the things that truly matter in life.

“True Concert 2026 - Love for the Land” brings together artists from different generations and with diverse musical styles, such as: renowned singer Bao Yen, Phan Manh Quynh, Thuy Chi, Nguyen Hung, Oplus, Ha An Huy, Pia Linh, Marzuz… The performance aims for a natural connection between generations of artists in the same musical space. There, each artist maintains their own unique style while harmonizing into a shared spirit.

As the performer of the two songs "Sunflower" and "From Then On," singer-songwriter Phan Manh Quynh expressed his connection with the spirit of the program because his music has always been filled with beautiful images of nature, memories, and emotions of life.

Participating in the concert, Marzuz brought a contemporary and profound musical experience with the song "Deep Water," while Ha An Huy and Thuy Chi made their mark with a poetic collaboration through the mashup "Sitting Leaning Against the Boat's Edge - The One Who Stays, The One Who Leaves."

In particular, the appearance of renowned singer Bao Yen with her song "Love Between Trees and Earth" brought a rich artistic and emotional highlight. This appearance also made "True Concert - Love of the Earth" not just a story about love for nature, but also evoked a sense of continuity of memories, emotions, and values passed down through time.

Enjoying the concert, Colonel and writer Duong Binh Nguyen said: “What impressed me most about “True Concert - Love for the Land” is that the program didn't try to create overwhelming spectacle but chose gentleness. In an era of increasingly noisy stages, “Love for the Land” takes a very different direction, restrained, subtle, and placing nature at the center of artistic emotion. I think this is not just a music concert but also a cultural and humanistic message about the relationship between people and the land, the environment, and sustainable values.”

With its investment in content, staging, and consistent artistic direction, "True Concert 2026 - Love for the Land" is not just a performance with surprising visual effects or explosive moments, but a connecting thread linking people with nature, with memories, and with the enduring values of life today.
