Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Vinh has just been appointed as Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF NATURAL SCIENCE

Today (June 19), the Prime Minister has just decided to appoint the Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

According to Decision No. 536/QD-TTg dated June 19, the Prime Minister decided to appoint Mr. Tran Cao Vinh, Chairman of the University Council of the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University), to hold the position of Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University. The term of appointment is 5 years.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Vinh was born in 1972 in Tra Vinh . Mr. Vinh graduated with a bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctorate from the Faculty of Physics - Technical Physics , University of Science (Ho Chi Minh City National University).

Before this decision, Mr. Vinh was appointed as Vice Principal (2018) and Chairman of the University Council of the University of Natural Sciences (2020).

Previously, on June 13, the Prime Minister had just decided to appoint Professor Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai as Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University. Just over a week later, this University continued to have a new Vice Director.

So far, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City National University has: Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan as Director and 3 Deputy Directors including: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai and Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Vinh.
