Go in peace

At the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, on the heroic background music, each step of the soldiers was decisive and uniform, mixed with the resounding shout of "Forward!", creating the rhythm of faith and national spirit.

The neat rows of soldiers, walking in a uniform and strong manner, demonstrated unity in organization, consensus in will, and discipline and elite training. Every step, every hand gesture, and every command were carefully taken care of in every detail, creating a solemn and majestic atmosphere. Sweat soaked their backs, but all the parade groups remained solemn, determined, and ready for the great festival of the country.

Author Duy Anh Nguyen Tran has captured beautiful moments through the photo series "Walking in Peace " . These are images captured by the author of some of the Majority of the Military Bloc marching through the central streets of Saigon on April 30, 2025. The photo series was also submitted by the author to the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award .

The powerful, synchronized steps of the "steel roses" are the result of months of hard training on the training ground. Despite the sweat pouring down their faces, the female soldiers still had bright smiles on their lips.

Strong faces, proud eyes, sweat soaked shirts, and the sound of heavy footsteps and loud shouts on Le Duan Street - the place that witnessed the nation's great historical moment exactly half a century ago.

  The neat formation, the synchronized steps and movements of the female soldiers created an impressive and grand scene at the parade on the morning of April 30.

On the roads where the parade passed, people stood on both sides of the road, cheering and waving flags to express their love. The moment the soldiers walked among the people's arms created an emotional and impressive scene.

Contestants: Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over

The award consists of two categories: Photo and Video .

Each contest category (photo and video) will have one First Prize worth 50,000,000 VND, two Second Prizes worth 30,000,000 VND, three Third Prizes worth 15,000,000 VND, 10 Encouragement Prizes worth 5,000,000 VND, one Most Voted Work Prize worth 5,000,000 VND.

The Organizing Committee encourages and will award a creative prize in each category (photo and video) worth 20,000,000 VND for works with new ideas, creativity in content and form of expression.

In addition, the Organizing Committee will award monthly prizes including First, Second, and Third prizes to the highest voted works of the month in each category.

The Jury will select the award through two rounds of Preliminary and Final, both online and in person.
