On the afternoon of August 20th, the Training Department of the Ministry of Public Security announced the entrance exam scores for police universities and colleges in 2024.
Accordingly, the Party Building and State Administration major at the People's Public Security Political Academy for female students in the North has the highest cutoff score at 25.52 points.
The entrance exam scores for police academies in 2024 are as follows:
The Training Department of the Ministry of Public Security notes that the admission score is the sum of the scores of the three subjects in the admission test combination and the score of the assessment test administered by the Ministry of Public Security. There are no failing grades as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Public Security.
The formula is as follows:
Guarantee threshold = (M1+M2+M3) *10/3+BTBCA, where:
+ M1, M2, M3 are the scores of the three subjects in the subject combination used for admission to the Public Security Academy; these scores are converted to a 100-point scale.
+ BTBCA is the score of the assessment test administered by the Ministry of Public Security, calculated on a 100-point scale.
This year, the total number of new student enrollments for police academies and schools is 2,150, through three admission methods.
Previously, nearly 130 candidates were admitted to police schools and academies, including 11 candidates who were directly admitted due to winning national or international awards; and 116 candidates who were admitted based on a combination of academic transcripts and foreign language certificates with a minimum IELTS score of 7.5.
Under method 3, the results of the Ministry of Education and Training's high school graduation exam will account for 40% of the total admission score; the results of the assessment exam organized by the Ministry of Public Security will account for 60% of the total admission score.
