Regarding the schedule for announcing the benchmark scores for grade 10 in Nam Dinh in 2024, speaking with Dan Viet newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hong, Deputy Director of Nam Dinh Department of Education and Training informed: "According to the schedule, the Department will announce the exam scores on the morning of June 16. Overall assessment of the exam, Mr. Hong said: "This year's exam is guaranteed to be as stable as every year. After the exam, the exam questions for all subjects were well received by public opinion, within the current secondary school curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, mainly within the 9th grade curriculum; the exam questions have differentiation, open questions, are linked to reality, especially there is innovation in the Literature subject."

Predicting the benchmark scores for Nam Dinh 10th grade in 2024, Mr. Hong said: "Currently, it is very difficult to predict the benchmark scores this year because there are no exam scores yet. We will announce the exam scores and benchmark scores as soon as possible to parents and students."

The entrance exam for grade 10 of public high schools in the non-specialized program in Nam Dinh for the 2024-2025 school year was held on June 7 and 8; the entrance exam for grade 10 of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted was held from May 23 to 25. More than 23,000 candidates took the exam. The province organized 46 examination councils with 47 examination locations.

For the entrance exam to non-specialized high schools, each candidate must take all 3 exams: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. Math is a multiple-choice test combined with essay (the multiple-choice test accounts for 20%, the essay test accounts for 80% of the total exam score), with a test time of 120 minutes. Literature is a multiple-choice test combined with essay (the multiple-choice test accounts for 20%, the essay test accounts for 80% of the total exam score), with a test time of 120 minutes.

The Foreign Language subject is a combination of multiple choice and essay tests (the multiple choice test accounts for no more than 50% of the total score), and the test takes 60 minutes. Candidates can choose to register for one of three languages: English, Russian or French. However, 100% of students choose English as their Foreign Language subject.
