The highest admission score (floor score) to date is at Foreign Trade University. Specifically, the floor score according to the results of the competency assessment test (ĐGNL) of Ho Chi Minh City National University is from 850 on a scale of 1,200 points. The floor score according to the results of the competency assessment test of Hanoi National University is 100 on a scale of 150 points.

In addition, candidates also need to have an average GPA of 7.0 or higher for each year of grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12; conduct of each year of grades 10, 11 and 12 must be good or higher.

Ton Duc Thang University announces that candidates applying for admission based on the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National High School Exam must achieve a score of 600 or higher (excluding priority points). Candidates must register for admission on the general system of Ho Chi Minh City National University from April 5.

In 2023, Hoa Sen University will conduct admission based on the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National High School Exam from 600 points or higher for all majors, except for Film majors, who must submit a Portfolio publication. In addition, the school also considers the results of the National High School Exam organized by Hanoi National University.

The admission score for the University of Economics and Finance of Ho Chi Minh City based on the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National High School Exam is from 600 points for all majors. According to the announcement, the school will start accepting applications from April 5 to April 28.

Notably, Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture reserves 25% of its major quota to consider admission applications from candidates taking the University of Natural Resources entrance exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in the first round. The floor score is from 700 points.
