Introduced by an acquaintance, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong in Hong Giang Ward (Chu Town, Bac Giang Province) came to the clinic of the 24th Military Medical Battalion for treatment. Ms. Phuong confided: “I had a headache in the back of my neck, fatigue, and had difficulty in daily activities. I went to many places for treatment but could not get better, but since coming to the clinic and receiving acupuncture, massage, acupressure, and instructions on proper living and exercise from the medical staff here, my condition has improved a lot.”

Arriving at the clinic of the 24th Military Medical Battalion, we were impressed by the cool green space, spacious and clean premises, and modern medical equipment system. In early March, the clinic promptly treated a case of meningococcal meningitis. The patient was a soldier of the 101st Regiment, 325th Division, suffering from high fever, headache, stiff neck, nausea... The diagnosis of a serious illness was made so the clinic promptly transferred the patient to a higher level and he was discharged a few days later.

The unit also closely and effectively implements regular health monitoring for officers and soldiers, thereby promptly detecting serious cases to provide treatment measures, or accurately refer cases beyond professional capacity...
