Mr. Lo Van Muoi said: "We are laborers in the highlands, mostly ethnic minorities, and our lives are still very difficult. Transportation, living conditions, and work are challenging. But recently, thanks to the Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company's support, providing stable jobs and ensuring monthly wages and income, our difficulties have been greatly alleviated. During holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year), the company sends staff to each team, plantation, and even to individual families to visit and encourage them. These actions are incredibly meaningful to us, because we feel the care, understanding, and compassion that fills us with human kindness."
According to Mr. Mười, he and his fellow workers were deeply moved by the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group who came to the plantation to encourage them and give gifts. The handshakes and words of encouragement from the officials and leaders right at the workplace boosted their confidence and motivation, allowing them to work with peace of mind, overcome difficulties together, and achieve the company's production targets.

Sharing the joy of being encouraged and receiving gifts during Workers' Month 2026 with Mr. Lo Van Muoi, Mr. Giang A Si, a plantation technician at Hua Thanh Plantation of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company, said: "Every year, several times during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year), we are always visited, encouraged, and given gifts by the Trade Union and the company. Each time we are visited and encouraged by the company's officials and leaders, my love for the company grows stronger. I will try my best to work well to contribute to the company's development and to live up to the trust and love that the company's leaders have given to us workers."

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Cam, General Director of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company, said: The company was established in 2007 and currently manages nearly 3,718 hectares of rubber plantations across 10 communes and wards, all located in mountainous areas with a large geographical scope. The entire company has 888 employees, of which more than 91% are unskilled laborers, mostly children of ethnic minorities in Dien Bien.
Despite operating in a challenging mountainous province, affected by weather and climate change, the company's leadership consistently adheres to the principle that "employees are at the center of development." Therefore, the company always prioritizes the material and spiritual well-being of its employees, fully implementing policies and regulations; maintaining support activities to alleviate difficulties, providing health check-ups, building housing, and organizing cultural and sports activities to create conditions for employees to feel secure and committed to the company in the long term.

In 2025, the average income of workers reached 6.97 million VND/person/month. During the first four months of 2026, due to the temporary suspension of harvesting during the tree shedding period, workers' income decreased (due to reduced labor). In response, the company proactively allocated funds from its welfare fund to provide rice and essential food items to over 700 workers (with a total amount of 1.05 billion VND).
In particular, during Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health (May 2026), based on the proposal of the Trade Union Executive Committee, the Company awarded bonuses to 771 direct and contract workers with a total amount of nearly 5.7 billion VND (May salary bonus averaging over 7.3 million VND/person).
Furthermore, the company also collaborates with the local community in many practical social and charitable activities, thereby contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the business and the local people, and building a positive image of rubber plantation workers in Dien Bien province.

Witnessing the joy of the workers and employees of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company when they received gifts, encouragement, and participated in activities during Workers' Month, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, was deeply moved to visit and work at Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company on the heroic land of Dien Bien Phu.
Ms. Thai Thu Xuong stated: "It was in the plantations, in the workplaces of the workers and laborers who are children of ethnic minorities in Dien Bien, that I came to understand more about the unique difficulties and hardships faced by workers in the rubber industry. This further moved me and made me appreciate even more the silent efforts and sacrifices of the workers here. Especially those workers from ethnic minority groups, who, despite facing many difficulties in their living and working conditions, remain diligent and steadfast in their commitment to the plantations, the unit, and the rubber industry."

Based on information regarding the living conditions, employment, and welfare activities of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company's workers over the past period, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong affirmed that the company has made great efforts in managing and operating production and business effectively, and comprehensively caring for the lives and employment of its workers. Despite the many difficulties and fluctuations in the market, the company has maintained stable production, ensured employment and income, and focused on improving working conditions and caring for the material and spiritual well-being of its workers, which is highly commendable.
"I highly appreciate the effective coordination between the Trade Union Executive Committee and the company's leadership in caring for the material and spiritual well-being of employees; implementing many practical and effective activities, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations," Ms. Thai Thu Xuong affirmed.

Emphasizing the view that "workers are the most valuable asset of the enterprise," Ms. Thai Thu Xuong suggested that Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company continue to pay more attention to its workers so that, under all circumstances, workers can always work and contribute with the firm belief that behind each worker there is always the trade union and the company accompanying them; the trade union is the "common home" and the company is the "peaceful support" for poor workers in the difficult highlands…
