Dien Bien Province appoints two Deputy Chiefs of the Provincial People's Committee Office.

GD&TĐ - On the afternoon of May 29th, the People's Committee of Dien Bien province held a conference to announce and present the decisions on the appointment of two Deputy Chiefs of the Provincial People's Committee Office.

Attending the conference were Mr. Lo Van Cuong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, agencies, and the entire staff of the Provincial People's Committee Office.

At the conference, representatives from the Department of Internal Affairs announced the decisions of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province regarding the recruitment and appointment of officials to the position of Deputy Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of the province.

Mr. Pham Hong Phong, Deputy Principal of the Dien Bien Provincial Political School, has been appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Mr. Trinh Van Hien, Head of the Economic Department of the Provincial People's Committee Office, has been appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; the term of appointment is 5 years from the date the decision takes effect.

Presenting the appointment decisions and assigning tasks to the newly appointed officials, Mr. Lo Van Cuong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the restructuring of the leadership team of the Provincial People's Committee Office was carried out on the basis of carefully considering the job requirements, professional capacity, and work experience of the officials.

According to Mr. Lo Van Cuong, in the context of increasingly high demands for advisory, synthesis, and support services for leadership and management, the leadership team of the Provincial People's Committee Office needs to continue to promote a sense of responsibility, proactiveness, political acumen, and professional competence to meet the requirements of the task.

Mr. Lo Van Cuong requested that the newly appointed officials continue to leverage their work experience, maintain a spirit of unity, discipline, and administrative order; improve the quality of comprehensive advisory services, and effectively support the leadership and management of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The newly appointed officials need to focus on advising and effectively implementing key tasks such as promoting the disbursement of public investment capital, implementing national target programs, improving the investment and business environment, supporting businesses, and promoting local economic growth.

The leaders of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to continue to promote its role in independently appraising projects, draft documents, mechanisms, and policies before submitting them to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision; proactively review and advise on improving overlapping or inappropriate contents to enhance the effectiveness of management and administration.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Pham Hong Phong, on behalf of the newly appointed officials, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by the leaders of Dien Bien province; and affirmed that he would continue to cultivate his qualities, improve his professional skills, uphold a sense of responsibility, and work together with the staff of the Provincial People's Committee Office to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
