ASEAN Naval Exercise

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of naval leaders from ASEAN countries and China.

Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi and Rear Admiral, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Navy Pham Manh Hung attended the opening ceremony.

ACMEX 2018 is co-hosted by the Singapore Navy (ASEAN Chair 2018) and the Chinese Navy.

ACMEX 2018 content includes: Drills at the wharf (military medicine workshop, diving workshop) and drills on the training ground and maps at the headquarters of the South Sea Fleet Base.

The live-fire drill on search and rescue and maritime security and safety in the region took place on October 25 and 26 in the sea area east of Zhanjiang city.

After the opening ceremony, the navies of the participating countries of ACMEX 2018 participated in planning and agreeing on the sea exercise categories, as well as safety rules and information content during the sea exercise.
