Investigating the cause of the large fire that occurred in Long An

Morning 5- 6, Duc Hoa District Police ( Long An Province) said that authorities are investigating a fire at two factories of two businesses specializing in the production of plastics and household appliances, causing extensive property damage.

The fire occurred on the night of June 4.

Initial information, at around 9:00 p.m. on June 4, people in Duc Hoa Dong commune discovered a large fire breaking out in the warehouse and production workshop of two enterprises specializing in the production of household plastic products and plastic beads in Hamlet 4, Duc Hoa Dong commune, Duc Hoa district (Long An).

Upon receiving the news, fire trucks from Duc Hoa District Industrial Park and authorities quickly arrived to put out the fire.

However, due to the flammable materials, the fire spread quickly, so the units had to make efforts to control the fire which was still smoldering inside after more than 24 hours.

Authorities are currently blocking off the scene to investigate the cause and determine the damage to people and property.
