The second night of competition at 8 PM on June 15th promises to continue delivering unforgettable moments of excitement.
The second night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2024 will be a showdown between "former champion" Italy - the team that won DIFF two years in a row (2017 and 2018), and runner-up in DIFF 2023 - and newcomer USA - the "dark horse" from the land of the stars and stripes.
During the dazzling light show themed "Made of Nature Wisdom - Masterpieces of Nature," audiences will witness vivid depictions of nature recreated through spectacular fireworks displays and vibrant artistic performances from a host of Vietnamese and international artists.
Returning to Da Nang and the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), the Italian team is determined to once again captivate the hearts of all audiences with their compelling fireworks displays. This year, inspired by nature and the colors of life, Martarello Group SRL, representing Italy, presents an innovative performance titled "Radiant Universe: A Symphony of Light".
Not only will the audience be treated to a visual feast, but they will also hear a unique symphony, harmoniously blending the gentle notes of the river with the harsh rhythms of wild nature.
Michele Martarello, Artistic Director of Martarello and representative of the Italian team, shared: “We are truly proud of our team's achievements in previous DIFF seasons. With our wealth of experience, to express our gratitude to you all, the Italian team will bring the audience a big surprise, something never before seen in Da Nang.”
Meanwhile, the team representing the United States – newcomer Rozzi Fireworks, with over 130 years of experience – is also extremely confident despite being in Da Nang for the first time. Audiences can expect an explosive performance in a distinctly American style titled "Humanity - A Bridge Between Nations".
With the presence of a series of giant fireworks displays in vibrant colors, symbolizing the diversity of human experience, the colors will blend and merge, representing the harmonious coexistence of different cultures and contexts.
"We believe that fireworks are not just a form of entertainment, but a form of visual art. Through our performance, we hope to inspire unity and optimism in the audience," a representative from the US team affirmed.
The second night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 will not only be a spectacular display of dazzling fireworks, but also promises to offer audiences unique cultural and artistic experiences along the romantic Han River.
The innovative hand-shaped stage at DIFF 2024, enhanced with modern technology, created a large-scale performance space that made a strong impression on visitors from the opening night. From the powerful declaration of nature in the performance of "Roar" (Katy Perry's song) to the melodious and romantic tunes of "Che Sarà" (Jimmy Fontana), depicting the peaceful beauty of nature through the soul of Italian art, or the performances of "The River Is Not Cold" and "Conversations with Nature" by the Trung Vuong Theatre and famous national singers..., all promise to create a colorful cultural space where music and dance are woven from stories about majestic and delicate nature.
Lights, music, and dance performances will all blend together to create a vibrant spectacle, transporting viewers to another world during the DIFF 2024 night.
Following the opening night, the subsequent nights of DIFF 2024 will feature competitions between the following teams: Italy - USA (June 15th) (Made of Nature Wisdom); Germany - Poland (June 22nd) (Made of Love Inspiration); China - Finland (June 29th) (Made of Fairy Tales); and the final night on July 13th titled “Made of Young Generation - The Pulse of the Future”. Each fireworks team will have 20-22 minutes to perform each night.
