Suspend circulation, recall and handle violating cosmetics

Lam Dong Department of Health Inspectorate checks the business situation of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics in the area.

Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health announces the suspension of circulation and recall of the following products in the province:

- G-Thera Amino AntiWrinkle Mask product

Type 05 pieces Box of 25g, Receipt number of Declaration Form 196219/23/CBMP-QLD; organization responsible for bringing the product to the market: VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (Address: Mezzanine floor of Dai Thanh Binh building, No. 911-913-915-917 Nguyen Trai, Ward 14, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City); manufacturer: C&Tech Corporation, Korea.

Reason for recall: The original product label does not list the correct ingredients as in the cosmetic product declaration file (missing Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin).

- Evit Tamanu product - 15ml bottle.

On the label is written: Receipt number of Declaration Form: 18185/23/CBMP-HN; Batch number: 010824; Manufacturing date: 210824; Expiry date: 210828; organization responsible for bringing the product to market and manufacturing: Vietnam Pharmaceutical Chemical Joint Stock Company, head office address: 273 Tay Son Street, Nga Tu So Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi City, manufacturing address: 192 Duc Giang, Thuong Thanh Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi City).

Reason for recall: Test sample does not meet quality standards for Volume uniformity.

- Product Adaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - 125ml bottle.

On the label is written: Receipt number of Declaration Form: 001454/23/CBMP-HCM; Batch number: ADSX010324; Production date: 11/03/2024; Expiry date: 11/03/2027; Organization responsible for bringing the product to market and manufacturing: GAMMA Pharmaceutical - Cosmetic Production Company Limited, Office address: 18 Nguyen Hau Street, Tan Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City; Production address: 201/21 Nguyen Thi Ne, Phu Hiep Hamlet, Phu Hoa Dong Commune, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Reason for recall: The test sample contained Methylparaben and Propylparaben which are not included in the product formula ingredients that have been granted a Cosmetic Product Declaration Receipt Number.

The Department of Health requests that wholesale and retail drug and cosmetic businesses in the province immediately stop trading and using the above cosmetic products; recall, return to distributors and send recall reports to the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health before June 10, 2025 (if any).

Lam Dong Province Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Testing Center strengthens sampling, testing and quality monitoring of cosmetics in the area, especially checking the above cosmetic products.

The Health Departments of districts and cities coordinate with local authorities to strengthen inspection and examination of drug and cosmetic retail establishments in the area, strictly handle violations according to their authority or transfer them to competent authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.
