Awarding 60 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances

QTO - On October 9, Song Gianh Cement Joint Stock Company coordinated with the People's Committees of Tuyen Hoa and Tan Gianh communes to award 60 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances in the area.

Each scholarship includes an SCG backpack worth 500,000 VND and 1 million VND. This is a great source of encouragement, helping students in difficult circumstances gain more determination to excel in their studies and life.

On this occasion, Education and Times Newspaper also presented 10 bicycles worth a total of 20 million VND to students in difficult circumstances who lack means of transportation to school.

This is an annual activity of Song Gianh Cement Joint Stock Company in Quang Tri province. Every year, the unit has allocated nearly 600 million VND to implement social security programs in the area.
