Provincial National Assembly delegation met with voters of Bac Binh commune

On the morning of October 3, the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, including comrades Nguyen Huu Thong - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, member of the Law and Justice Committee of the National Assembly and comrade Tran Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee of the National Assembly, had a meeting with voters in Bac Binh commune (Lam Dong).

At the meeting, comrade Tran Hong Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice, reported to voters the main contents of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly. At the same time, he informed about the socio -economic situation in the first 9 months of 2025 in the whole country and in Lam Dong province, as well as the province's anti-corruption work in the first 9 months.

At the meeting, voters of Bac Binh commune reflected that the commune's current arrangement of a public administrative service center is not enough, overloaded compared to the commune's population. The agricultural production situation is still unstable, rice prices are low while fertilizers are increasingly high. Along with that, voters made recommendations on infrastructure-related issues such as difficult rural roads; the route from National Highway 1A to Song Mao station (more than 3km) but the traffic volume is very high, voters have repeatedly requested investment in expansion but have not been resolved.

In addition, voters of Bac Binh commune proposed that the collection of garbage fees in the commune has not been unified after the merger, with many different levels; the situation of raising buffalo and cows in residential areas in some villages causes pollution, affects the lives and activities of the people, and needs to be relocated soon. The state of ethics in schools is deteriorating day by day, so it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and education in many forms.

Voters' recommendations related to upgrading and improving intra-field roads; environmental pollution due to buffalo and cow farming; public administration centers that do not meet the requirements for handling procedures for people... were noted by local representatives, and will be reviewed to find solutions soon. Regarding upgrading and expanding the route from National Highway 1A to Song Mao station, the Department of Construction said it has reviewed and is conducting surveys to expand and install traffic lights in necessary areas to ensure traffic safety and meet people's travel needs.

Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Huu Thong thanked the voters for their frank opinions and recommendations. At the same time, he emphasized that in the current context, the tasks of the commune level are very heavy, with many difficulties ahead. However, with the great efforts of the local civil servants and the unanimous coordination and support from the people, the two-level government apparatus has been operating stably and effectively.

Regarding the voters' recommendations, National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Huu Thong requested that localities, departments and branches take note to have a solution. The recommendations under the authority of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation were recorded, received and fully synthesized to send to the relevant ministries, branches, the Government and the National Assembly for consideration at the upcoming session.
