Quang Ninh province delegation works with some Belgian enterprises

As part of the working program in the Kingdom of Belgium, on June 6, the delegation of Quang Ninh province led by Mr. Vu Van Dien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, worked with a number of Belgian corporations and enterprises.

Evonik Antwerpen is the largest production site of Evonik Industries outside Germany. It operates 11 production plants serving the key areas of nutrition and care, performance materials, specialty additives, technology and infrastructure.

Katoen Natie Group currently provides a wide range of diversified logistics solutions, based on integrated logistics and engineering to a wide range of multinational companies operating in different markets.

Dubbed the “logistics heart of Europe”, Antwerp is the second largest port in Europe, playing the role not only as a trading center, but also an important bridge for supply chains of goods from Asia (including Vietnam) to Europe, as well as from the US to Europe.

At the places he visited, Mr. Vu Van Dien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, introduced to the corporations the potential, advantages, development orientation and investment attraction of Quang Ninh province. At the same time, he affirmed that Quang Ninh is committed to always accompanying, listening, sharing, being a reliable partner of enterprises; supporting and creating the most favorable conditions for Belgian investors to come and study, explore opportunities, decide to invest and operate long-term and effectively in the province. In particular, the focus is on requesting corporations to study the construction of factories and production lines in industrial parks and invest in seaport systems in Quang Ninh province; introducing partners who have the need to expand investment in production and business in Asia and Southeast Asia to be interested in investing in Quang Ninh province.

Representatives of the corporations visited and worked with by the Delegation highly appreciated the socio -economic development achievements of Quang Ninh province in recent times and the development potential of the province, demonstrating the great development aspirations of Quang Ninh province in the coming time. The corporations are ready to conduct research, cooperation, and support the implementation of key projects of the province and look forward to visiting and surveying Quang Ninh province in the near future.
