Doan Hung: 171 households have received support money to remove temporary and dilapidated houses.

Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, Doan Hung district has 249 households in need of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, including 90 households with revolutionary contributions, 155 poor and near-poor households, and 4 households under the national target program.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi in Phu Thinh area, Doan Hung town, is the wife of a martyr who has just received 35 million VND from the State and local authorities to repair her house, helping her to stabilize her life.

By May 28, the district had allocated funds under the Program to 171 households with a total support amount of over VND8 billion from the targeted supplementary source from the provincial budget to the district budget. Along with that, the district's "For the Poor" Fund supported VND120 million for 17 poor and near-poor households in difficult circumstances when starting the temporary house demolition project and supported VND490 million for 7 poor households in especially difficult circumstances to build new houses without counterpart funding. The commune-level "For the Poor" Fund supported nearly VND200 million for households when starting the temporary house demolition project.

It is expected that the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and people with revolutionary contributions in the district will be completed by the end of September 2025.
