On August 10, the Dong Hoi Railway Transport Branch ( Quang Tri ) confirmed that the high-quality train on the Hanoi - Dong Hoi route has officially been put into operation for the first time. This is considered the "ground plane" of the railway industry.

The passenger train consists of 13 high-quality carriages applying advanced technology, manufactured and built in Vietnam for the first time.

The train runs on the Hanoi - Dong Hoi railway and vice versa every 2 days.

Hanoi - Dong Hoi departs at 8:05 pm from Hanoi station and arrives at Dong Hoi station at 6:10 am the next morning.

Dong Hoi - Hanoi departs at 3:20 p.m. at Dong Hoi station, and arrives at Hanoi station at 4:15 a.m. the next morning.

The train's sleeping cabins are also improved in many features, and are especially clean.

The train is also equipped with the most advanced technology, serving the maximum needs of passengers, so it is considered the "ground plane" of the railway industry.

In addition to the wifi system and air conditioning, each bed is equipped with a TV.

The train is also equipped with an odorless, vacuum-cleaning system similar to an airplane. The seats can rotate 360 ​​degrees; there is an electronically controlled braking system that prevents the wheels from locking in emergency situations requiring deceleration; and there is an axle temperature gauge to increase safety when operating the train.

The train is promised to upgrade its passenger service.

The train has 6 soft sleeper cars and 5 soft seat cars, each soft sleeper car has 28 beds.

"In addition to changes in equipment, this train has also been upgraded many times to serve people in the most professional way," said a representative of Dong Hoi Railway Transport Branch.

Average ticket price is 620,000 VND/seat ticket, and 1,135,000 VND/sleeper ticket for the journey from Hanoi - Dong Hoi.

The Hanoi - Dong Hoi railway route is approximately 500km long. This luxury train will only stop at a few major stations along the route. Travel time is approximately 10 hours.
