While in the past most tourists knew Chau Doc for the sacred pilgrimage site of the Lady of the Land Temple , today, Chau Doc is also known for many other wonderful things. From the center of Chau Doc city, traveling upstream on the Hau River, tourists will find the Chau Doc floating fish farm village – one of Chau Doc's very special tourist attractions. Floating houses and fish farms are nestled close together to form a "village," stretching for several kilometers.
