Unique textbooks through the ages at the National Achievements Exhibition

In celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2nd and welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Vietnam Education Publishing House is proud to be a companion of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) to participate in the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements with the industry's own theme "80 years of Education and Training for National Development". The exhibition will take place from August 28, 2025 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi.

Within the framework of the Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition, the Education and Training Achievements Exhibition Area of the Ministry of Education and Training with the theme "80 years of Education and Training for the development of the country" will be one of the important highlights of national significance, contributing to affirming the key role and historical mission of the Education sector in the process of building, defending the Fatherland and international integration.

The exhibition is an opportunity to honor the outstanding achievements of Vietnam's revolutionary education in 80 years of construction and development, the contributions and dedication of generations of teachers, education managers, workers, students and pupils in the education sector. Thereby contributing to encouraging and promoting the spirit of "respecting teachers and valuing education" and studiousness of the nation, striving to fulfill the task of training human resources, nurturing talents, building Vietnam in the new era - the era of striving to become increasingly rich, democratic, fair, civilized, prosperous and happy.

With an exhibition area of 396m² at location H1-013, Hall 1, the booth of the Ministry of Education and Training will vividly and objectively recreate the 80-year development journey of the Education sector associated with the history of building, protecting and developing the country under the wise leadership of the Party and State. The exhibition content is organized according to important historical periods:

Central area (Reception area): General introduction of the exhibition, brief history of formation and development of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Period 1945 - 1954: The outstanding achievements of Vietnamese education in the first years after the successful August Revolution and the years of resistance against the French colonialists were the emulation movement "Elimination of ignorance" and fighting illiteracy, in which the first educational reform took place in 1950.

Period 1954 - 1975: Reflects Vietnam's education during the period of socialist construction in the North and the struggle for national reunification, including the second educational reform in 1956.

Period 1975 - 1986: Represents Vietnam's education in the early period of building socialism nationwide, along with the third educational reform in 1979.

Period 1986 to present: Characterized by Vietnam's education in the renovation period, especially the fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training since 2013.

The era of breakthrough in education and training development: Introducing the modernization and breakthrough orientations in education and training development in the new era.

In the 80-year journey of development of the education sector, NXBGDVN is proud to be a pioneer, closely accompanying the Ministry of Education and Training in building and developing a sustainable and modern education system, meeting social requirements and international integration.

Participating in this exhibition, NXBGDVN plans to bring its most typical products (textbooks, special reference books, digital products...) to display at the exhibition.

For many years, NXBGDVN has played a pivotal role in providing knowledge and shaping teaching and learning methods for many generations. With the products expected to participate, NXBGDVN will contribute to the Organizing Committee to build an exhibition area with diverse products, demonstrating the continuous development and commitment to a quality education.

These are textbooks through the ages: From the first textbooks after the August Revolution to the latest textbooks according to the 2018 General Education Program, the Vietnam Education Publishing House has distilled, compiled and published, accompanying millions of generations of Vietnamese students on the path to conquering knowledge. These are not only books, but also living proof of the development of educational thinking, the adaptation to each historical period of the country.

Textbooks in ethnic languages: Outstanding with textbooks for students in ethnic minority areas, NXBGDVN not only helps improve the quality of education, ensuring the right to education for all children, but also contributes significantly to the preservation and maintenance of the rich cultural and linguistic heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups, promoting equality in education and building a diverse and united society.

Special reference books: These are works that have won book awards or have high value in culture, history, education; or specialized publications on specific fields and specialties, demonstrating the diversity in product content and comprehensive knowledge development orientation of the Vietnam Education Publishing House.

Digital products and electronic learning materials: Anticipating the digital transformation trend, NXBGDVN has been strongly developing diverse and convenient electronic products and digital learning materials. These products not only meet modern learning and teaching needs but also provide maximum support for teachers and students in accessing knowledge anytime, anywhere, actively contributing to educational innovation and international integration.
