Cong Phuong's team officially changed its name to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club

(NLDO) - Binh Phuoc Club has recently officially announced a name change to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club and a brand identity towards the 2025-2026 First Division.

After the transfer and unification process, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Football Club officially has a new name: Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club .

In the team's announcement, the decision received absolute consensus and unanimity from the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company and related agencies.

The club's board of directors affirmed that the name change does not destroy the identity and indomitable fighting spirit of the "Green Warriors". On the contrary, this is a step forward to expand the stature, spread the image and connect the football fan community in Dong Nai province and the Southeast region.

"From Binh Phuoc to Dong Nai, we are not lost, but growing. That green color will always be the color of faith and the desire to win," the club's announcement emphasized.

The club's homepage also shared: " Each name is associated with memories, with pride, and most of all with the love of fans. This change can make someone's heart sink or feel a little disappointed, because Binh Phuoc is not just a place name, but a memory of heroic years, the origin of passion and aspiration.

However, as General Secretary To Lam once said: "The sky of any homeland is the sky of the Fatherland". The name may change, but the aspiration, identity, spirit and soul of the Club will remain intact. The new name is not the end, but an open door, taking us to a wider horizon, where sports is a bridge connecting, spreading culture, identity and arousing the strength of community solidarity, the unity of all the people of Dong Nai province".

With its new mission, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club pledges to continue its efforts on the path to conquering the heights of Vietnamese football, nurturing local pride and contributing to bringing the country's football to the international level.

Before the new season, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club has also continuously activated quality contracts on personnel, such as: Coach Viet Thang or players Minh Vuong, Xuan Truong, Quang Thinh,.... to strengthen the force towards the goal of promotion to V-League.
