Innovating industrial promotion activities.

No longer limited to supporting the provision of machinery and equipment, industrial promotion efforts in Khanh Hoa are shifting strongly towards building "soft power." Training courses on e-commerce, green economy, and Halal standards are becoming key to enabling rural specialties to enter the digital age and conquer international markets.

Strengthening "soft power" for businesses.

In the context of the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, industrial promotion in Khanh Hoa province has witnessed a significant transformation. Instead of spreading resources thinly, the Provincial People's Committee approved the 2025 local industrial promotion program in a province-wide unified manner. This is considered a strategic step, suitable to the local socio -economic characteristics, and closely linked to the spirit of developing the private economy.

The biggest highlight of the 2025 strategy lies in prioritizing the enhancement of management capacity. Instead of just providing capital to support equipment, the program focuses on strengthening "soft power" through specialized training courses. Mr. Le Quoc Dat, Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, said that the innovative activities are practical and closely aligned with the actual needs of businesses. Specifically, a series of training courses on e-commerce sales skills, tax regulations, and electronic invoices have been organized. Trendy topics such as green circular economy, brand building, and digital transformation have been included in the curriculum to help rural businesses change their production mindset.

In reality, simply having a good product is not enough. Specialty products like grapes, onions, garlic, or handicrafts need a brand to enhance their value and create a sustainable supply chain. Through digital tools, businesses are guided in customer management, market analysis, and online store operations, helping products from remote areas easily reach consumers both domestically and internationally. In particular, the dissemination of Halal standards to rural businesses and collaborative efforts with the Quality Measurement and Standardization Center 2 (Quatest 2) have opened the door to exports to potentially lucrative Muslim countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Middle East.

In-depth investment, activating the digital economy.

Along with prioritizing "soft power," Khanh Hoa continues to support technological innovation with a practical and in-depth approach. Replacing outdated production lines with modern equipment reduces manual labor, increases accuracy, and boosts productivity. This is a key factor in helping local products meet the stringent standards of export markets.

In 2025, the province will provide financial support for 5 projects applying advanced machinery with a total budget of 675 million VND. Notably, each project undergoes a rigorous survey and evaluation process, ensuring that support is provided to the right recipients and meets their specific needs. The program is not only measured by the number of machines but aims for a larger goal: activating economic integration between merged regions. The comprehensive industrial promotion strategy helps to maximize the potential of each area. The southern region of the province, with its traditional handicraft industries, when boosted by technology and management expertise, will accelerate the pace of rural industrialization.

Alongside production, the connection between supply and demand has been strengthened through regular trade fairs and conferences. Introducing rural industrial products into supermarkets and shopping malls helps businesses understand consumer preferences and improve their products more professionally. However, perhaps the most significant change comes from the proactive spirit of those involved. Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh Hang, Deputy Director of Thanh Hung Agricultural Co., Ltd. (Dong Khanh Son commune), shared that businesses are no longer passively waiting but view industrial promotion as an opportunity for self-improvement. Industrial promotion is truly becoming a partner, helping businesses confidently integrate into the digital age.
