The spacious two-story house is the result of many years of hard work by Mr. Sung Seo Lang and his wife in Su Ma Tung village. Born into a poor family, Mr. Lang finished 9th grade and then followed his friends to work as a laborer in various locations in the province. During that time, he learned the carpentry trade. Returning home after many years of wandering, Mr. Lang borrowed more capital to buy machinery and open a carpentry workshop, serving the needs of people in the village and commune. This also became a new direction for economic development, bringing a decent and stable income to Mr. Lang's family.

Stability for the family.

Recently, Mr. Giàng Seo Pao from Sừ Ma Tủng village sold two buffaloes, and along with his savings from many years of hard work, his family had enough money to build their dream house. The house is built on an area of nearly 100 square meters, with a sturdy concrete roof. To save on construction costs, Mr. Pao asked relatives and neighbors in the village to help. Previously, Mr. Pao and his relatives also helped many families in the village and within their extended family build houses through reciprocal labor.

In the joy of preparing to welcome his newly completed house, Mr. Giàng Seo Pao shared: "Exchanging labor to help build the house has helped my family save about 100 million VND in labor costs. We learned from each other, gaining experience as we worked, and together we built beautiful, sturdy houses so we can work and live in peace."

Mr. Pao's family, like many other families in the village, benefited from the community's practice of exchanging labor to build houses, reducing the cost of hiring workers and utilizing community labor to complete arduous tasks. This is a beautiful tradition that clearly demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and mutual support in overcoming difficulties.

These sturdy houses were built through the hard work and solidarity of the people of Su Ma Tung village.

The Su Ma Tung village kindergarten is currently under construction. Prior to this, after being informed by the teacher, parents at the school, despite their busy schedules, enthusiastically participated with the school in transporting equipment and setting up a temporary classroom for the children. The temporary classroom is located in the village's cultural center. In just two days over the weekend, both parents and teachers completed the setup of the temporary classroom, creating two separate rooms, ensuring no disruption to the children's learning.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, a teacher at the Su Ma Tung preschool branch, shared: "The lives of the people in Su Ma Tung village are still difficult, but they are very concerned and send their children to school regularly. When the school needs help with work, the villagers all participate enthusiastically. Many families have parents working far from home, so the teachers also help with extra hours of childcare or pick up and drop off the children at home."

The village of Su Ma Tung currently has 27 out of 67 poor households. The village's economy depends on small-scale agricultural and forestry production and people working as laborers in other localities. Due to harsh soil and weather conditions, the villagers mainly raise and cultivate traditional crops and livestock such as buffaloes, cows, pigs, chickens, corn, and rice on small plots of land. In recent years, the villagers have expanded the area for planting cardamom, with about 2,000 plants per household, initially providing a decent income and improving the income of the families.

Mr. Giàng Seo Vu, head of Sừ Ma Tủng village, said: "The lives of the people in Sừ Ma Tủng village are still full of hardships, but the people are very united and help each other in life, work, and production. Along with government support, the people have contributed their labor to build internal village roads, repair the cultural center, and share experiences in livestock farming and cultivation… Whenever a family has a funeral, wedding, or other event requiring assistance, the villagers wholeheartedly help and share. It is this spirit of solidarity that has helped Sừ Ma Tủng village gradually escape poverty and build a prosperous life."
