The Brazilian national team held their first training session immediately after arriving at their training camp in New Jersey. A total of 25 out of the 26 players called up participated. Neymar was the only one absent due to ongoing injury recovery.

In the friendly match against Egypt (at 5 AM on June 7th), coach Ancelotti stated that he will definitely make two changes to the starting lineup from the match against Panama (which Brazil won 6-2 on June 1st): the inclusion of defenders Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhaes, who will replace Bremer and Leo Pereira.
