The Vietnamese team achieved impressive results with 19 awards, including: 1 Championship in the Primary category (by students of Le Ngoc Han Primary School, Ho Chi Minh City); 1 First Prize in the Intermediate category (by students of Binh Thuy Primary School, Can Tho City); 10 Third Prizes and 7 Encouragement Prizes. These outstanding achievements show the outstanding potential of the young generation of Vietnam in the field of STEM Robotics.

The 2024 International Robothon is both an intellectual playground and a place to nurture passion, inspire creativity, and help students prepare to become global citizens. The success of the event is a clear demonstration of the right direction of STEMeducation in Vietnam.

Robothon is a prestigious STEM Robotics competition, held annually for the past 18 years by Eduspec Holdings Berhad (Malaysia), attracting thousands of students across Asia. In Vietnam, the competition has been taking place since 2012, becoming an intellectual playground for students from primary to high school, helping them develop programming skills, robot control, creative thinking, and application of AI technology, Digital Twin in Metaverse.

This year, the 2024 International Robothon has the participation of 142 teams with hundreds of contestants aged 8-18, from 5 countries: Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. In particular, the Leanbot category attracted up to 95 teams, a number that is much higher than other robot categories. Pythaverse Singapore, the research and development unit of the Leanbot solution, is the official technology partner of the International Robothon, affirming its pioneering role in applying technology to STEM Robotics education.

Previously, in Vietnam, Vi Nguoi Viet Education Technology Joint Stock Company - the exclusive distribution partner of Leanbot solution from Pythaverse Singapore - successfully organized the National Robothon 2024 competition, creating opportunities for thousands of students across the country to access STEM education and practice science and technology skills.

This outstanding achievement is a great motivation, adding confidence to Vietnamese students on their journey to conquer international technology arenas.
