
Earlier, the Co To Border Guard Station received information that the fishing vessel HP 90666 TS, along with 11 crew members, had lost contact in the area about 26 nautical miles west of Bach Long Vi Island, suspected of being sunk by large waves.
Immediately after receiving the information, the functional forces of the Hai Phong Border Guard Command promptly deployed search and rescue operations. At approximately 4:00 AM on May 27th, the fishing vessel ND 92568 TS discovered and rescued three workers from the distressed vessel HP 90666 TS. The Hai Phong Border Guard Command continued to deploy forces and resources to coordinate the search for the remaining crew members.

At approximately 5:45 PM on the same day, the Co To Border Guard Station, in coordination with officers from Border Guard Regiment 38 and the Bach Long Vi Border Guard Station, transported fisherman Nguyen Tam, born in 1955, residing in Duy Thanh commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province (old location), to Van Don Regional General Hospital (facility 2) for emergency treatment.
According to information from the authorities, Mr. Nguyen Tam had a history of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and had undergone surgery, which led to urinary tract obstruction after a long period at sea. Doctors at Van Don Regional General Hospital (facility 2) performed catheterization, and the victim is now conscious, his health is gradually stabilizing, and he continues to be monitored and treated.
