After the opening ceremony, officers and soldiers of Lung Cu Border Post together with departments, branches, forces and people planted 5,000 Sa Moc trees, on an area of over 4 hectares. Sa Moc is a type of tree suitable for the soil and climate in the Ha Giang Stone Plateau. The unit will protect the trees until they are mature, then hand them over to the local authorities for care and protection.

The continued planting of trees on the border of Lung Cu Border Guard Station will contribute to the successful implementation of the Prime Minister 's Project to plant 1 billion trees and the Resolution of the Executive Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee on sustainable forestry development in the period 2021 - 2025.
