The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a conference on the organization of Ninh Binh Tourism Week in 2024.

On the afternoon of May 14, comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a conference on the organization of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024. Also attending were the Deputy Heads of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 and members, relevant units and localities.

Ninh Binh Tourism Week is an annual, unique tourism product of the province, and is also one of the activities responding to the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The Provincial People's Committee organizes the Tourism Week to strengthen propaganda, promotion, and introduction of Ninh Binh's tourism products and services to domestic and international tourists, and at the same time affirm the Ninh Binh tourism brand as a unique, safe, friendly, quality and attractive destination; stimulate demand and attract tourists to Ninh Binh in the low season.

According to the report at the conference, Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" is expected to be held for 8 days, from June 1 to June 8, 2024 at the provincial level. The Opening Program of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 will take place at Dong Gung Bus Station, Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu District. The Department of Tourism is speeding up the preparation of premises, renovating facilities in the opening ceremony area and venues for cultural activities from Tam Coc wharf to cave 3 area; deploying the installation of stands, stages, lighting, toilets... to serve the Opening Program. Strengthening information and propaganda work for activities under the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 program; building and completing the overall script for the art program, the boat trip experience program on the river, traditional agricultural rituals...

At the conference, delegates reported on the progress of assigned tasks such as: Experiential boating activities on the river, traditional agricultural rituals; culinary performances from regions across the country; Tam Coc walking street and food market; demonstration and display of the province's OCOP products, traditional handicraft products; organization of Tam Coc Golden Season photo tour; survey program, introduction of Ninh Binh tourism products (FAMTRIP, PRESSTRIP); art photo exhibition with the theme "Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Season"; water puppetry performances, Cheo singing, Xam singing, folk songs of 3 regions; Goat fighting competition...

Delegates also pointed out some difficulties and problems in traffic flow, security and order, power supply plans to serve activities during the Tourism Week...; at the same time, discussed solutions to ensure the best service for the opening program and activities during the Tourism Week.
