(GLO)- On August 18, comrade Truong Van Dat - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council attended and directed the 1st Congress of Chu A Thai Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030. 100 delegates representing 738 party members of 39 affiliated grassroots party organizations attended the congress.

Chu A Thai commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Ayun Ha, Ia Ake and Chu A Thai (old). After the merger, the commune has a total natural area of over 133 km ² , with 23 villages and hamlets; population of over 21,000 people.

In the 2020-2025 term, the socio -economy of the communes before the merger continued to develop, with average income per capita reaching 46.98 million VND/person/year; 2/3 of the communes met new rural standards.

People's material and spiritual life has been improved; national defense and security have been ensured; Party building and the political system have achieved many outstanding results.

The Congress voted and passed the Resolution for the 2025-2030 term with 4 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and main targets. In particular, the commune strives to have an average income per capita of 60 million VND/year by 2030; over 90% of grassroots Party organizations complete their tasks well or better every year.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Truong Van Dat - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in Chu A Thai commune have achieved in the past term.

He emphasized that in the new term, the commune will continue to effectively promote the strengths of the locality. In particular, focusing on planning to gradually build a new administrative center of the commune; supporting residential land for people; and promoting investment attraction.

Along with that, improving the quality of poverty reduction work in ethnic minority areas; applying science and technology in agricultural production to enhance the brand value of Phu Thien Rice in the market; actively transforming digitally to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public administration in the area...

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key leadership positions of the Chu A Thai Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 22 comrades, comrade Trinh Thi Hong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
