After receiving a request from the authorities, Vietnam Airlines has canceled domestic flights to and from Noi Bai from 11am to 8pm on July 18. For Cat Bi airport, flights VN1182 and VN1183 between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong will not operate. Previously, the airline announced the cancellation or change of schedules of many flights to and from Hai Phong due to the impact of the storm. Vietnam Airlines has no flights to Van Don airport on July 18.
For international flights, flights departing from Hanoi between 11am and 8pm on July 18 will change their take-off time to after 8pm on the same day.
International flights scheduled to land in Hanoi from 11am to 8pm on July 18 will also delay their departure times. Specifically, the airline will delay the departure times from 2 to 10 hours for flights from Japan, South Korea, Beijing (China), Taipei, Kaohsiung (Taiwan, China), Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, Cambodia, Mumbai (India), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to Hanoi on July 18. Other international flights will temporarily maintain their original schedules but may be adjusted depending on the actual impact of the storm.
Other airlines are also adjusting their flight schedules in accordance with the authorities' instructions. As the storm's impact may last for a long time, airlines recommend that passengers planning to travel to and from airports in the storm-affected areas regularly check weather conditions and information from the airline.
