Dong Giang disburses loans to eliminate temporary housing for 646 households

(QNO) - On June 24, 2025, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Dong Giang district disbursed social policy credit loans under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in A Ting commune.

Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank (CSXH) of Dong Giang district - Mr. Dang Van Dung said that, based on the direction of the Board of Directors of the District Social Policy Bank, the unit focuses on implementing Decision No. 873, dated April 4, 2025 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province on regulations on lending to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses from the provincial budget entrusted through the Social Policy Bank.

Recently, cadres and employees have closely coordinated with the authorities and mass organizations of communes and towns to promote information and propaganda about loan policies to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.

The relevant parties urgently synthesized the loan needs of communes and towns and reported to the Quang Nam Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch. The Dong Giang District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office proactively coordinated with localities, unions, savings and loan groups to guide people through loan application procedures. Yesterday, June 24, the unit disbursed loans to 110 households in A Ting Commune with a total amount of 4.4 billion VND.

Deputy Director of the Dong Giang District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office - Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh said that in the second phase of 2025 alone, the unit disbursed 17.4 billion VND to 464 households for loans to help them eliminate temporary houses. Of which, 58 households borrowed to repair their houses, 406 households borrowed to build new houses.

Mr. Minh added that, in total, up to June 24, Dong Giang district had 646 households borrowing capital under the loan program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with a total amount of more than 22.4 billion VND. A Ting commune had the largest number of households receiving loans with 139 cases; followed by Prao town with 110 cases...
