Securities stocks attracted nearly 3,900 billion VND in today's session, the highest in the market, with most codes increasing in price.
The trading value of this group of securities stocks accounts for more than one-third of the entire Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), of which six codes have liquidity of over a hundred billion.
SSI Securities Corporation shares received nearly VND618 billion, the highest on the HoSE. The market price of this code also increased by 1.6% today. In previous sessions, SSI was often in the group of stocks with bustling transactions, mainly sold by investors with the market price in a downward trend.
In addition, the entire securities industry also recorded many stocks increasing strongly today, with four stocks increasing by 4% or more. VCI alone reached its ceiling price at one point, closing the session up 5.3%.
The banking group also had many stocks in the green, mostly from 1% or more. Of which, VCB, VIB , CTG and TCB were in the top 10 stocks contributing the most to the market.
Meanwhile, the real estate industry's board has been quite complicated. Overall, the industry index is still increasing, with seven codes accumulating more than 5% compared to the reference, including two codes hitting the ceiling, PLA and CIG.
However, some pillars in the real estate industry decreased. DIG fell to the floor after losing more than 7% compared to the reference. Codes such as DXG, CEO, PDR with liquidity of hundreds of billions, all decreased more than 1%.
VN-Index did not fluctuate much in the morning, investors started to disburse in the afternoon, bringing this index to test the 1,070 point zone. At the end of the session, VN-Index accumulated nearly 8 more points, reaching 1,068.3 points.
On the HoSE floor, 205 stocks increased and 162 stocks decreased. In the pillar group, active buying liquidity sought many stocks with large capitalization in the afternoon session. In the VN30 basket, 20 stocks were green.
Liquidity today decreased by nearly 12% to about VND11,730 billion. In addition to the financial group, investors focused on trading in industry, real estate and raw materials. Foreign investors' cash flow decreased slightly but still maintained a net purchase of more than VND100 billion. HPG and VHM were the two stocks that foreign groups bought the most.
