Experts at the health firm WebMD say that exercising before breakfast helps burn fat faster. "Do some moderate exercise before sitting down to eat in the morning," the organization advises.

Exercising on an empty stomach can help you achieve better workout results. Sweating workouts before breakfast can help you burn more body fat.

When fasting, the body relies on several backup mechanisms to ensure that muscles and the brain receive the necessary nutrients for fuel.

Sports scientists at Nottingham Trent discovered that exercising on an empty stomach helps people burn about 70% more fat than those who exercise two hours after eating.

Dr. David Clayton, a specialist in nutrition and exercise physiology at Nottingham Trent University, explains: "Combining exercise and fasting can be an effective way to increase the benefits of exercise. We want to evaluate this over a longer period to explore ways to make fasting easier and more convenient for everyone."

Weight loss should be gradual.

While science emphasizes the time-related differences in weight loss results, experts discourage focusing too much on exercise time. Exercise alone isn't a practical way to lose fat, so you should also consider what you're eating.

Standard dietary guidelines emphasize the importance of eating a variety of fruits and vegetables. At least half of a person's grain intake should come from whole grain sources.

WebMD reminds us that it's best to lose weight gradually because there's less risk of regaining it. "Many experts believe that gradual weight loss is best," the health organization stated.

According to the National Institute of Nutrition and Dietetics, if you lose weight too quickly, you will lose muscle, bone, and water instead of fat. The institute recommends losing between 400 and 900 grams per week and avoiding outdated diet plans.
