The "Happy Chess Pieces" project was launched by the Vietnam Chess Federation in 2023 with the mission of bringing 100,000 chess sets and 1,000 volunteer coaches to disadvantaged, orphaned and disabled children. The project hopes that children in any condition or circumstance will be able to develop comprehensively in terms of intelligence, physical strength and spirit.
