According to the Hai Duong Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board - the project investor, as of June 24, many items of the Hai Duong Provincial Social Protection Center Construction Project are being implemented simultaneously, with the total construction volume reaching more than 50%. Of which, the fence item has been completed by about 80%. The basic technical infrastructure system has completed the stages of laying sewer pipes, rainwater and wastewater pipes. Fire prevention and fighting systems are being installed in the main buildings.

The building blocks in the project are currently under construction. Of which, the administrative building has completed the 2nd floor walls; the conference hall is being sanded; the medical - rehabilitation building has completed pouring concrete columns on the 2nd floor. The boarding blocks for the elderly are in the stage of completing the roof floors. The cultural, vocational, and children's boarding blocks are also undergoing floor, column, and wall construction on schedule.
The construction and equipment installation package for the project is worth more than 293 billion VND, and is carried out by a consortium of contractors: Northern Electrical Equipment Construction and Repair Joint Stock Company, Tan Hai Duong Construction Investment Company Limited, Nha Viet HD Group Joint Stock Company, Hai Nam Investment - Construction Joint Stock Company, Hai Duong Refrigeration Electrical and Mechanical Construction and Trading Company Limited, Sin Viet Elevator Company Limited and Petrolimex Insurance Joint Stock Corporation.
The Hai Duong Provincial Social Protection Center project is built in Nam Sach district, with an area of about 6.8 hectares, with a total investment of more than 379 billion VND from the provincial budget. This is a civil and industrial project of level III, belonging to group B. The scale includes administrative areas, halls, medical facilities, rehabilitation, cultural education, vocational training, boarding for children, the elderly, the disabled... It is expected that when the center is completed, it will meet the care needs of about 750 subjects, aiming to serve 1,000 elderly, children, and disabled subjects by 2030.
This is one of the province's key projects in the field of social security, which is of great significance in ensuring facilities for care and support for people with special difficulties and vulnerable groups, contributing to the good implementation of social security policies in Hai Duong province.
