Approval of investment policy for Vietnam Wafer super pure quartz material production project

The project is invested by Vietnam Wafer Joint Stock Company, implemented in Quan Ngang Industrial Park, Quang Tri province , with an expected land area of 9,500 m2, designed capacity: 1,500 tons of products/year.

The factory will provide products and services such as ultra-pure quartz in the form of classified grains, used as input for the production of quartz furnaces (bowls), solar panel coating glass, optical cables, optical lenses, etc.

In terms of scale, the factory is expected to be built on 2 floors with a total construction area of 8,390 ^m2 ; the total initial investment capital is more than 96 billion VND, of which the investor's contributed capital is 24,062 billion VND and the mobilized capital is 72,188 billion VND.

The project aims to produce ultra-pure quartz sand for semiconductor, optical and photovoltaic applications. The project is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025 and be completed and operational by mid-2026.

When put into operation, the project will be the first step in building the semiconductor raw materials industry in Quang Tri province, contributing to increasing the industrial value in the locality.
