Accordingly, at the departure terminal of Da Nang International Airport, 10 self-check-in kiosks have been arranged for passengers to do automatic check-in procedures, and the terminal has arranged a team of support staff. All operations and check-in procedures are bilingual, displayed on touch screens, bringing convenience and ease of use to visitors.

To self-check in, at the kiosks, visitors select the airline and language, then scan their passport or passenger code, the screen displays their seats for them to choose and declare their luggage. When these steps are completed, the counter will automatically print the boarding pass for the passenger…

After a few minutes of completing the check-in procedures for his flight, Mr. Kim Rihan (a Korean tourist) said, with just a few steps following the instructions on the machine, I was able to complete the procedures and print my boarding pass. This helped us shorten the time we had to queue and wait for our turn to check in like before. Thanks to this automatic check-in kiosk, we had more time to rest while waiting to board the plane.

According to Mr. Do Trong Hau, Deputy General Director of Danang International Airport Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), the automatic check-in process takes about 2-5 minutes to complete. If you do the traditional check-in procedure, you have to queue and wait for about 15 minutes to complete.

In addition, the automatic check-in application aims to digitize airport processes, which helps reduce airport congestion during peak hours and save time for travelers.

In the coming time, the unit will continue to work with all airlines operating at Da Nang International Terminal to continue integrating data into the software and soon put it into the check-in system for passengers with the aim of creating convenience and bringing the most comfortable experience for tourists.
