According to Nguyen Van Cuong, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Doai Phuong commune: Jackfruit trees in the commune are grown in home gardens and on hillsides, producing large fruits with juicy, golden-yellow segments that are fragrant, delicious, and have a crisp, sweet taste. They are considered a key crop of the commune, with traditional native jackfruit varieties along with many imported varieties, characterized by early fruiting and high yields, such as Thai Changai jackfruit and super-early jackfruit.

The entire commune currently has nearly 70,000 jackfruit trees, planted on a total area of over 40 hectares, concentrated in hilly areas, yielding more than 3,000 tons annually. Jackfruit trees are present in Doai Phuong commune as a sustainable economic solution. Ms. Trinh Thi Huong, a jackfruit orchard owner in Thien Loc village, Doai Phuong commune, excitedly said: "The benefits from jackfruit trees are significantly higher than other crops, helping many families in the commune to transform themselves and become wealthy with incomes ranging from 100 million to 400 million VND per year. The appeal of Doai Phuong jackfruit lies not only in its fragrant, delicious, and sweet quality but also in the stability of the market. In Doai Phuong today, there are no longer 'tiled houses with jackfruit trees,' but many 'jackfruit orchard villas'."

Jackfruit in Đoài Phương doesn't require much care. After each harvest, the trees are pruned to encourage new growth, resulting in a more abundant harvest in the following season. While many other agricultural products face the worry of "bumper harvests leading to price drops" or require community support for "rescue," Đoài Phương jackfruit has always maintained its unique position. Ms. Đỗ Thị Xuân, a jackfruit orchard owner in Đồng Trạng village, shared: Traders from all over flock to buy jackfruit directly from the orchards to distribute to major cities and popular tourist destinations. Many families have become wealthy from specializing in jackfruit cultivation and trading. Each golden, juicy segment of jackfruit has made its way onto the shelves of supermarkets and stores, becoming a precious local gift for those living far from home and tourists from all over. We are very happy that the delicious jackfruit from Đoài Phương has become a popular gift and souvenir for tourists, helping to increase the income of jackfruit growers.

The vision of the people of Doai Phuong has expanded further by linking the jackfruit brand with the development of community tourism and resort tourism. Visitors to Doai Phuong not only get to enjoy fragrant jackfruit segments right from the tree, but also experience the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside, and capture photos of themselves, their families, and friends alongside jackfruit trees laden with fruit...

To further promote the jackfruit brand, the government and people of Doai Phuong commune have been taking systematic steps. According to Bui Huu Nam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Doai Phuong commune: The commune is not only focusing on preserving, propagating, and cultivating valuable jackfruit varieties, but also on improving intensive farming techniques to standardize the quality and yield of jackfruit, while striving to have jackfruit recognized as an OCOP (One Commune One Product) product. Doai Phuong commune also has the traditional Van An carpentry village. Therefore, concentrated jackfruit growing areas are planned not only for selling fresh fruit but also to supply raw materials to the processing industry, helping to guide the development of traditional handcrafted carpentry while increasing product value and bringing high economic efficiency to jackfruit growers.
