Railways offer 20% discount for early ticket buyers

News from Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, the railway is implementing a program to reduce ticket prices by up to 20% when passengers buy tickets far from the travel date.

Passengers who buy tickets far in advance of their travel date on trains running in October will receive a discount of up to 20% on ticket prices.

Specifically, for trains SP2, SP4 running from Lao Cai station to Hanoi station every Monday to Saturday; train NA1/2 between Hanoi - Vinh, train SE20 from Da Nang - Hanoi running every weekday: Buy 2-9 days in advance of the train departure time to get a 5% discount on the ticket price, 10-19 days in advance to get a 10% discount, 20 days or more in advance to get a 20% discount. However, the number of discounted tickets for each seat type is only 20 tickets/train/day.

This regulation on discount rates based on ticket purchase time far from departure date is also applied to trains on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route running from Monday to Thursday every week, the number of discounted tickets for each seat type is 20 tickets/train/day.

Applicable to Thong Nhat SE1/SE2, SE5/SE6 trains Hanoi - Saigon, SE19 train Hanoi - Da Nang on weekdays; tickets with a travel distance of 400km or more; the number of discounted tickets for each seat type is 10 tickets/train/day.

The above prices do not apply to round-trip tickets, group tickets and social policy beneficiaries. These passengers have their own preferential and discount policies.
