To serve the activities of the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2, Hanoi will close many routes from now until the end of September 2. Therefore, the railway industry will adjust the departure and arrival stations of some trains. Trains on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route will depart and arrive at Long Bien station; the Hanoi - Lao Cai route will depart and arrive at Gia Lam station; the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route and the southern routes will pick up and drop off passengers at Giap Bat station.
During the time Hanoi City closes roads to serve the activities of the 80th National Day, travel may be difficult. The Railway Industry recommends that passengers be present at the station at least 60 minutes before the train departs to ensure they do not miss their train.
Hanoi Railway Station will open an additional gate at Gate 1 Tran Quy Cap to facilitate travel. Passengers should proactively plan their travel to avoid areas with traffic restrictions; regularly monitor information about routes and road closure times.
