This is a software installed on the phone for taxpayers; to date, more than 10 thousand people have registered to use the eTax Mobile service. Of these, thousands of people have mastered and performed many operations on the software such as: paying taxes, looking up notifications, tax-related obligations, etc.
* Convenient for taxpayers
eTax Mobile software is an electronic tax application deployed by the tax industry since April 2022, aiming at the goal of using electronic tax for all people. eTax Mobile is installed on smartphones, tablets... to help taxpayers grasp information and fulfill tax obligations as quickly as possible.
Ms. Tran Hoang Tho (Tan Phong Ward, Bien Hoa City) said that she has been using the eTax Mobile application for 5 months now. At first, she often forgot how to log in so she rarely used it. However, in the past 2 months, due to a lot of work to do, Ms. Tho switched to using eTax Mobile to save time traveling to pay taxes. Through eTax Mobile, Ms. Tho has learned information about fulfilling her tax obligations quite easily and most accurately.
Dong Nai Tax Department said that up to now, the province has had over 10 thousand accounts registered for eTax Mobile. Of which, nearly 2.7 thousand taxpayers use the eTax Mobile service, the total amount of tax successfully paid via eTax Mobile reached over 3 billion VND. |
According to some taxpayers who have used eTax Mobile, the electronic tax application has many utilities. On the software interface, there are many sections for taxpayers to look up information such as: tax registration, tax payment, tax liability lookup, file lookup, notifications on tax payment, fees, charges, etc. quite fully. During the use, some new users are not yet proficient, so they easily enter the wrong numbers. However, errors are still guided and adjusted promptly by tax officers.
Ms. Dang Thi Thu Thao (living in Binh Da Ward, Bien Hoa City) shared that every month, Ms. Thao has to pay personal income tax and value added tax on electronic invoices. While using the application, Ms. Thao mistakenly entered the information codes for each tax item, so she had to go directly to the tax office to make adjustments. In addition, the connection between banks and tax offices is still slow, causing her tax payment to take longer. Ms. Thao said: "I hope the tax department will soon upgrade the software and update information faster with banks so that people do not have to go back and forth between agencies many times."
* Towards developing electronic tax for all people
eTax Mobile has been reaching more and more taxpayers in many places across the country. In Dong Nai, this application is being strongly deployed with the goal of using electronic tax for all people. Accordingly, people can use their smartphones or tablets to download and install the eTax Mobile application.
Mr. Tran Quang Ninh, Head of Taxpayer Support and Propaganda Department (Dong Nai Tax Department) said that over the past year, the tax sector has always promoted the implementation and dissemination of tax solutions to serve people in grasping information and fulfilling tax obligations. The eTax Mobile electronic tax application, deployed over the past year, is very convenient for some groups of people belonging to business households, individuals renting houses; groups of people with income from salaries and wages; non- agricultural land use tax; car and motorbike registration fees; financial obligations on land and other taxes...
According to Mr. Tran Quang Ninh , in addition to the above utilities, the eTax Mobile application also helps taxpayers look up information about dependents, taxpayer information, personal income tax calculation tools; integrates the price list of car and motorbike registration fees; helps taxpayers look up authorized collection banks, electronic tax payment banks, tax-related news...
Mr. Ninh said: “Currently, the tax authority is managing about 20 million individuals nationwide, so it is very convenient. After looking up, taxpayers can connect with banks to get support for tax payment. Currently, the tax authority has linked with many banks to collect taxes online through bank accounts such as: Vietcombank, BIDV, VietinBank, MB, Agribank…”.
