Mr. Nguyen Dai Phuc, Director of Hue City People's Committee (second from the right), presents 1 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City.

Ms. Pham Thi Ai Nhi, Standing Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, received this donation.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Ai Nhi expressed her deep gratitude for the timely concern and support from Vietnam Electricity Group and PC Hue to the people of the city; she also stated that this financial support will be transferred to households severely affected by the floods, including damage to their homes, property, and livelihoods, helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

Representing EVN, Mr. Nguyen Dai Phuc, Director of Hue Power Company, stated: "With a spirit of mutual support, EVN wishes to stand alongside the government and people of Hue in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Along with this support, all officials and employees of the power sector are working day and night to inspect and restore the power grid, ensuring the fastest and safest restoration of electricity supply for the people."

During the heavy rains and floods from October 25th to 30th, Hue City was severely affected, with many areas deeply submerged. Hundreds of substations and thousands of households had their power supply temporarily cut off to ensure safety. As soon as the water receded, Hue Power Company mobilized all its personnel and equipment, coordinating with relevant agencies to focus on addressing the problems, repairing damage, and quickly restoring the power system to normal operation.

This 1 billion VND donation demonstrates EVN's social responsibility towards the community, thereby spreading acts of kindness and contributing to strengthening people's trust in the electricity sector's support during difficult and challenging times.
