Speaking at the reception, Ms. Pham Thi Ai Nhi expressed her deep gratitude for the timely concern and sharing of Vietnam Electricity Group and PC Hue for the city's people; at the same time, she said that this support fund will be transferred to households that suffered heavy damage to their houses, properties and livelihoods after the floods, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

EVN representative, Mr. Nguyen Dai Phuc, Director of PC Hue said: With the spirit of mutual love, EVN wishes to accompany the government and people of Hue in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Along with this support, all officers and employees of the electricity industry are working day and night to check and restore the power grid, ensuring the fastest and safest return of power to the people.

During the flood from October 25 to 30, Hue City was severely affected, many areas were deeply flooded, hundreds of transformer stations and thousands of households had to temporarily stop supplying electricity to ensure safety. As soon as the water receded, PC Hue mobilized all human resources and equipment, coordinated with functional units to focus on handling incidents, repairing damage, and quickly bringing the power system back to normal operation.

The VND1 billion support demonstrates EVN's social responsibility to the community, thereby spreading humanitarian gestures, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the electricity industry's companionship in difficult and challenging times.
