EVNCPC has 5 projects winning VIFOTEC awards in 2024

DNVN - The Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) has just announced the results of the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award (VIFOTEC) 2024. The Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has 5 projects registered to participate and all won prizes, with 2 Second prizes, 2 Third prizes and 1 Encouragement prize.

EVNCPC's two Second Prizes include the project: Building a tool to integrate data from the EVN PMIS technical management program and automatically drawing lines to initialize and edit medium-voltage grid data on GIS maps (Author group Truong Tung Chau, Nguyen Dinh Tuan, Pham Ngoc Quang, Ho Quoc Viet, Nguyen Van Minh - Da Nang Electricity Company Limited);

EVNCPC's topics and solutions are highly appreciated for their feasibility and practical effectiveness.

Research project on design and manufacture of simulation set of Recloser station and LBS on medium voltage grid (Author group: Truong Minh Tu, Luong Quoc Trong, Le Tran Hoang Viet, Vo Nhu Vu, Pham Thien - Da Nang Electricity Company Limited).

Two Third Prizes include the project: Research, calculation and analysis of optimal solutions for managing low-voltage grid output current (Author group: Le Hong Cuong, Nguyen Dinh Tuan, Vo Van Phuong, Nguyen Van Hieu, Nguyen Cong Minh - Da Nang Electricity Company Limited).

Research project, design and manufacture of switching equipment simulating the distribution grid to serve DMS/DAS function testing (Author group: Ho Hy Vinh, Trinh Quoc Chien, Doan Quang Minh, Nguyen Van Vinh, Le Van Ngan (Central Electricity Testing Company Limited), Vo Khac Hoang (EVNCPC Technical Department)).

1 Encouragement prize is the research project to build a warning system for power outages at public transformer stations due to circuit breaker tripping via Eoffice chat (Author group: Le Hong Cuong, Huynh Thao Nguyen, Phan Quang Tu (Da Nang Electricity Company Limited), Duong Minh Kiet (DLMT Information Technology Company)).

The results of the VIFOTEC award in 2024 are truly good news in the first days of the new year 2025 for EVNCPC, especially for individual authors, groups of authors and those working in innovation and scientific research in the Corporation, closing the year 2024 with 13 works and topics winning awards at all levels.

With this result, the "collection" of VIFOTEC awards of EVNCPC authors and author groups in the period 2020 - 2024 has reached 18, with 1 First prize, 6 Second prizes, 9 Third prizes and 2 Encouragement prizes, of which 2024 has the largest number of VIFOTEC awards in recent years.
